- x86 processor (Linux Mint 64-bit requires a 64-bit processor. Linux Mint 32-bit works on both 32-bit and 64-bit processors).
- 512 MB RAM (1GB recommended for a comfortable usage).
- 5 GB of disk space
- Graphics card capable of 800×600 resolution
- CD/DVD drive or USB port
Diese Angaben gab es auch schon für Linux Mint 14 und beim Desktop (Mint und Cinnamon) gibt es hier keinen Unterschied. Daher habe ich das ein wenig getestet und hier mal ein paar Angaben, welche ich persönlich gemacht habe:
Rechner 1:
- Intel Pentium 4 (2,6GHz)
- 768 MB RAM
- ATI 3870 Radeon
Linux Mint 15 MATE-> keine Probleme
Linux Mint 15 Cinnamon-> keine Probleme jedoch nicht so flüssig wie MATE
Rechner 2:
- Intel G850 (2,9GHz)
- 8GB RAM
- Nvidia GT630
Linux Mint 15 MATE-> keine Probleme
Linux Mint 15 Cinnamon-> keine Problemeund volle 3D Unterstützung
Hier auch wieder - wie unter Ubuntu - bei AMD/ATI Karten nur Probleme gehabt!
5GB Festplattenspeicher ist zu wenig und bei 512MB RAM wird es keinen Spaß machen!
