Last week, Huawei Japan made an official announcement that the android 7.0 Nougat update will be rolled out to honor 8 users in Japan starting from the 16th of January.
Now Huawei has started pushing out the update to honor 8 users in other countries. The update includes the new EMUI 5.0 and the total size is 2.27GB which is more than the Japan's 1.97GB Nougat update. So this means that the
